Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) is proposing changes to its regulations to update the effective date for federal and state regulations currently referenced or adopted by reference in the agency’s regulations, Rules 1.11 and 1.12, changes to Rules 8.14 through 8.18, and revisions to the asbestos regulation Rule 6.3.4(a).
On September 9, 2026, a formal hearing on the proposed regulation change will be held at Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA), 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia, during its regularly scheduled Board meeting at 10 a.m.
Comments on the rule may be submitted in writing during the public comment period, beginning August 7, 2026, at 8 a.m. Comments may be mailed to ORCAA at 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia, WA 98502, or emailed to dan.nelson@orcaa.org. The deadline for submitting comments is 4:30 p.m., September 8, 2026. Oral or written comments will also be accepted during the public hearing on September 9, 2026, in person or via the Zoom link on ORCAA’s website.
