ORCAA seeks EV to update aging vehicle fleet

The Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) is seeking bids from licensed car dealerships for the purchase of a new agency fleet vehicle.

The vehicle must be fully electric, new, or certified used with low mileage and be well-maintained. It should be at least a four-passenger vehicle, but cannot be a pickup truck. The vehicle must have a range of at least 220 miles and include standard safety features such as airbags, an antilock braking system, electronic stability control, and safety harnesses. The vehicle must also contain basic convenience features such as cruise control, power windows, air conditioning, and a backup camera.

Bids should meet or exceed the specifications listed above. Bid information should include warranty information, promotional pricing incentives, and other information that would influence the sale price or continued maintenance cost of the vehicle.

The bid award will be based on the lowest bidder that meets or exceeds the basic vehicle requirements. Any incentives or maintenance promotions, as well as warranties, will be taken into consideration when determining the total vehicle cost.

ORCAA reserves the right to reject any bid for good cause.

Bid submissions must be received by ORCAA no later than 4 p.m., September 15, 2025.
