The Olympic Region Clean Air Agency’s (ORCAA) Draft Fiscal Year 2026 Budget (covering July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) opens for public comment on May 7, at 10 a.m.
A public hearing regarding Draft FY2026 Budget will take place during the regularly scheduled June Board of Directors’ meeting at 10 a.m. on June 11, 2025. The hearing will be held at ORCAA’s offices – 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia – and on Zoom. Details of the Zoom log-in may be found at the Board of Directors page.
The FY2026 Budget includes:
- Proposed increase in fees for Land Clearing Burn Permits. These permits are required for clearing and burning large plots of land for development or other use. The draft budget includes an increase from $131 to $275 per acre.
- A 2.3% fee increase for all other fee programs following the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the year ending December 2024 (as directed by ORCAA Board Resolution #274).
- A 2.3% increase for per capita assessment charged to cities and counties in ORCAA’s jurisdiction (as directed by ORCAA Board Resolution #285).
- The budget covers salaries and benefits for 18.2 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees.

Written comments must be submitted to the agency no later than 12-noon on June 10, 2025. Oral comments may be made by attending the hearing in person, or remotely via Zoom.
