Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) is considering approving a Notice of Construction (NOC) application, #20NOC1451, by Crown Cork & Seal (Crown) to install a third beverage can manufacturing line.
ORCAA has reviewed Crown’s proposal and concluded all criteria for approval have been met, and compliance with applicable air regulations and standards will be maintained. On this basis, ORCAA Staff’s Preliminary Recommendation is to approve Crown’s application.

Comments on this case may be submitted to ORCAA in writing by 4:30 p.m. on August 20, 2021. Comments may be mailed to ORCAA at the address above or emailed to jennifer.demay@orcaa.org. In making their final determination, ORCAA staff will only consider comments pertaining to air quality implications of the proposal. A public hearing may be requested by any person, interested government agency, group, or the applicant. Per ORCAA Rule 6.1.3(c), a public hearing may be held if ORCAA determines significant public interest exists.
