Notice of Public Meeting: Proposed changes to ORCAA regulations

The Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) protects and promotes clean air quality throughout its six-county jurisdiction. With that directive in mind, ORCAA’s staff and board of directors also understand the importance of making the agency’s regulations clear and easy to abide by.  To improve its efficiencies, ORCAA proposes a few modest changes to its regulations, specifically updating Regulation 4.1 — Registration Required (see current regulation here). The proposed changes will:

  1. Bring ORCAA’s regulations into better alignment with state rules and regulations
  2. Make ORCAA’s regulations more consistent with those of other local air agencies in Washington
  3. Clarify and simplify some of the language in ORCAA’s regulations

The draft language of the proposed changes to the regulations can be found in the document linked below. (PDF format).

  • Date: Thursday, June 21, 2018
  • Time: 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Location: ORCAA Conference Room, 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia, WA 98502
