DNR Calls Fire Safety Burn Ban for Western Washington

Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) News

Due to increased wildfire dangers, all debris burning in DNR jurisdiction is prohibited in Western Washington, including the six counties within ORCAA jurisdiction: Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston.

This includes rule burning (residential burning), land clearing burns, and silvicultural permit burning. Campfires are allowed in approved, designated campgrounds only. Contact the county for information on recreation burning on improved property.
