Effective October 1, 2021, the Clallam County burn ban will be lifted. Recreational fires, residential burns, and permitted debris burns will be allowed.
Burning – except all recreational fires – is permanently banned in Urban Growth Areas (UGAs) under Washington state law. Clallam County UGAs falling under this state ban include Port Angeles, Sequim, Carlsborg, Forks, Joyce, Clallam Bay, and Sekiu.
Outside the UGA, contact your local Fire District for burning regulations and permit requirements.
