Air agencies work together to streamline communications

Request for Proposals (RFP) issued for technical solutions to resource sharing

The Northwest Air Quality Communicators (NWAQC) – a consortium of communicators from federal, state, tribal, and local air quality and health agencies. agencies, tribes, and non-profit associations in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho – plans to improve communications related to air quality in the region.

The NWAQC members routinely share ideas, resources, and programs to develop and implement air quality communications and outreach programs. To improve that cooperative work, the group seeks an outside contractor to help streamline the sharing of resources, and to help create new resources.

Working close with ORCAA and other local air agencies, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency took the lead on issuing the RFP for vendors to create a web-based resource sharing service and to create sharable content for various air-related programs.

The RFP documents are available at Bid Postings • Asset Creation to Support Air Quality Campaign (pscleanair.gov)

The RFP addresses the need for a creative consultant with robust technical capabilities who can help us create, deliver, and facilitate shared communications throughout the NW Air Quality groups in the Pacific Northwest region.
