Public comment is currently being accepted on a Draft Air Operating Permit (AOP) revision for Crown Cork & Seal (USA), Inc.'s aluminum beverage can manufacturing facility located in Olympia, Washington, pursuant to Title V of the federal Clean Air Act. The draft AOP is intended to help ensure compliance with air quality regulations and standards that apply to Crown Cork & Seal.

The new AOP will supercede Crown Cork & Seal's current AOP, and will remain effective for 5 years. . Copies of the draft AOP for Crown Cork & Seal's Olympia facility and the associated Technical Support Document are on file and available for review at the Olympia Timberland Library at 313 8th Ave. SE in Olympia as well as at Lacey Timberland Library at 500 College St. SE in Lacey. Copies are also available at ORCAA's office in Olympia and online at www.orcaa.org.

Comments may be submitted to ORCAA in writing. Written comments should be addressed to: ORCAA, 2940-B Limited Lane NW, Olympia, WA 98502, and will be accepted up to close of business on Friday, June 23, 2006. Comments should pertain to adequacy of the draft AOP in assuring compliance with applicable air quality regulations and standards.
